Whatever the case, some series are left with dangling questionsーor just left with one season, and with many fans wondering what exactly occurred. These 10 anime left their fans waiting for the ending that never came and an unresolved arc, as they did not receive a justified conclusion.
10 Bunny Drop
It was perhaps left for the better thatBunny Dropdid not receive another season, as manga readers despise the ending. What was a cute slice-of-life and coming-of-age story about Daikichi and Rin learning to live together naturally and opening up to one another made a hard turn at the end, resulting in viewers being warned to only watch the anime.
Although the anime left viewers somewhat satisfied with Daikichi and Rin's father-daughter relationship still remaining, which makes it all the more worth it to not receive another season.
9 Deadman Wonderland
Deadman Wonderlandbegan with a great premise, with Ganta being put into a horrible predicament after he was accused of killing his entire class. Although the manga had more horror and a concrete story, the anime left viewers with unanswered questions.

This was even more frustrating, as the anime left even broader questions about certain things and didn't divulge the plot twists in full.
8 Ouran High School Host Club
Ouran High School Host Clubwas a great romantic comedy that had a solid ending. However, that doesn't leave anime fans from wanting more, especially when it comes to Haruhi and Tamaki's relationship.
Does Haruhi finally pay for the vase she broke, or does it not matter anymore? Who does she end up with? Although the answer to the former is obvious, it still would have been great to see a concrete conclusion.
7 Rurouni Kenshin
Rurouni Kenshinwas a great adaption-until the fillers overshadowed the source material. Because of this, the anime was pandering for screen time as there wasn't enough source material to cover the entire episode count.

6 Baccano!
AlthoughBaccanois held in high regard for its interesting premise, life-like characters, and voice actingーin English and Japaneseーthe ending was an absolute mess that left many anime fans scratching their heads.
The ending both left fans confused and wishing for a sequel to explain whatever occurred in the last episode, but with the series only being 16 episodes, that will likely not happen. Luckily, the light novel is still continuing and has accumulated 22 volumes thus far.
5 Claymore
Claymoreis an interesting case, as it couldn't even gain a second season if it wanted, no matter how popular it was amongst anime fans.
The reason why it didn't receive one was that the anime ran out of material to adapt. The anime caught up to the manga, to say the least, and never received another adaption as it was not able to catch up.
4 Btoom!
Both anime watchers and manga readers wish for a concrete ending forBtoom! For starters, the characters are still left stranded on the island. They're also unsure of how to get off of the island or how they even got embroiled in this death game.
The fact that so many questions remain warrants another season, but alas, due to low sales there was never another adaption since the anime concluded in 2012. Although the manga ended in 2018 and resulted in a concrete ending, and the light novel concluded and had another ending.
3 Bleach
Bleachwas a pitiful adaption of the source material because it was plagued with fillers. This doesn't mean it was all bad, however, because there were many great episodes and arcsーhowever, even after falling off from being one of the Big Three, it did not receive any more episodes likeNarutoandBleach.
This was a stark difference even for anime such asFairy Tailthat even received more seasons thanBleach.Fortunately, due is being paid with the anime adaption of the Thousand-Year Blood War.
2 High School Of The Dead
High School of the Deadwas unfortunately cut short not because the source material ran out, but for a more somber reason.
Although the series was made into many memes and mentioned the hyper-violence of the series, it was held in high regard as one of the best horror and action series during its time. The series did not continue to be serialized because the writer, Daisuke Sato's, went on hiatus. He then died due to ischaemic heart disease in 2017, leaving it an unfinished work.
1 Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?
The ending that never still remains inProblem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They? The interesting premise and characters left fans wanting more, but alas, it never received a never season after 2013.
