Recipes I Make Repeatedly
There are certain recipes that are my go-to from the blog recipe archives. They are ones that I fall back on time and time again during the week to make at home.
I call these my favorite mediterranean diet recipes because they are simple, delicious and fit into what I call my “mediterranean diet food philosophy“.
My Favorite Mediterranean Diet Recipes
1. Greek Salad
I think I include this recipe in almost all of my roundups, but I honestly and truly make it about 2-3 times a week.
It’s simple, easy to throw together and I usually have the ingredients on hand (at least in the summer anyway).
2. Skillet Baked Salmon
This salmon is so flavorful that even people that don’t like salmon end up loving this dish. It’s easy to make and comes out perfect each and every time.
3. Mediterranean Nachos
I pull this dish together quite often on the weekends for a relaxing Sunday lunch or if we are watching a game during football season.
4. Greek Chicken Bowls
Hands down this is my go-to recipe for weekday lunches. It’s quick, full of flavor and super filling.
5. Chicken Souvlaki
Inspired by one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten, this is a family favorite meal.
6. Italian Chicken Bake
My mom made a similar version of this dish growing up and to this day, my sisters and I still all love it. Using most canned goods, it’s a budget friendly recipe that kids can help make.
7. Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl
When I’m craving something fresh but full of flavor and texture, this dish hits the spot. Light enough for summer but still filling at the same time.
8. Grilled Fish Tacos
I could eat fish tacos everyday for the rest of my life and never get tired of them. We love them so much we served has Rubio’s Fish Tacos cater our wedding.
9. Spicy Tuna Wrap
Tuna fish gets an upgrade in this easy wrap recipe. Perfect for on the go lunch since it can be prepared in advance.
Once the weather gets a little cooler this soup is made at my house about once a week. It’s so hearty and comforting, plus it makes great leftovers.
11. Ricotta, Tomato and Basil Lavash
There is just something about the combination of tomatoes and fresh basil that will forever make me happy. Combined with creamy ricotta, it’s the perfect lunch in my eyes.
