Ma Boulangerie is an authentic French bakery located in Frankton. They have the best coffee and a selection of freshly made bread, pastries and sandwiches.
Highly recommend their almond croissant, the filling is just divine and the pastry soft but flaky just like it should be. Each coffee comes with a square of their freshly baked brioche for an added touch.Service is friendly and efficient.
It’s a take-out establishment so there isn’t any seating inside. It’s a great option for breakfast on the go. We also recommend getting there early to avoid a line out the door. Yes, it’s that good!

It’s a comfortable cafe offering good food straight from their garden and locally sourced fresh organic ingredients. They have a selection of cabinet food on offer in addition to a breakfast and lunch menu.
We’ve always found the food to be fresh and delicious. You also have the option of ordering a half portion if you prefer a lighter meal. I always enjoy their simple eggs on toast. The eggs are always cooked well and the bread fresh.
The convenient location has views out to the Remarkables and Coronet Peak. It’s a great spot for breakfast before heading out to explore the Queenstown area or hitting the slopes in winter.

Next door to the famous burger joint,Fergburger, is Fergbaker. A bakery serving the most delicious pies. If you’re a fan of pies then we highly recommend you try one!
They offer a huge variety of fillings to choose from surrounded by a flaky and buttery pastry, always fresh and delicious. The bacon and egg pie is a popular choice for breakfast.
If you’re not keen on a pie, the breakfast wrap filled with bacon, chorizo, scrambled egg, hash brown, spinach, tomato relish and aioli is a good alternative. Yum! Or, they have a selection of freshly made sandwiches.
Expect a queue (line), but it moves pretty quickly and is worth the wait.

Location: 9 Isle Street, Queenstown
Make the short walk up the hill towards the Skyline Gondola and you won’t be disappointed! Bespoke Kitchen is one of the most popular places for breakfast in Queenstown. The quality of food and the service are top notch.

Yonder is a fresh and vibrant café located near Lake Wakatipu in central Queenstown. The menu focuses on fresh whole ingredients and a farm to table approach that caters for all different dietary requirements. The food is healthy and satisfying.
I usually like to recommend a couple of dishes we really like, but this was too tough to narrow down so I’m going with my top 4!
For something a little different, try the Turkish Eggs…the combination of flavors is so good! If you’re after a colorful, healthy version of a full breakfast the Full Yonder is the way to go. You won’t be disappointed.
If you prefer something on the sweeter side, the Blueberry & Lemon Pancakes are to die for (the French Toast is also a strong contender). They are buckwheat pancakes so not too sweet and suitable for vegans, dairy-free and gluten free. How good is that!
The Vegan Butty is also really good and one I recommend whether you’re vegan or not.

Their gourmet donuts are works of art with so many unique flavor combinations to choose from. Or, for a serious sweet tooth, try one of their Instagram worthy specialty freak shakes (maybe not for breakfast).
I really rate the bagels here and the coffee is good too. The breakfast bagel is my go-to for a quick and easy breakfast that will fill me up for the day without breaking the bank. A simple bagel with cream cheese is a great option to stock up on for hikes.
