We've been discussing how widespread the 2024 Nautilus's major issues are., so I thought we could get a bit more scientific with our small group. You can modify your vote if your situation changes.

My Hybrid battery went dead the other day. Dealers mobile service jump started in. Took it to the dealer who did diagnosis test which showed a bad battery with no secondary drain issues. So they replaced the battery. We'll see what happens. I am of the opinion there is an underlying cause for this issue probably related to the long transit times (50 plus days from manufacturer to dealer) and Lincoln has yet to figure it out. First year of a new model usually brings a host of issues. Plus I don't believe dealers have adequate stock yet of replacement parts.

2024 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid Black Label delivered 02/24/2024 now has 769 miles (sits in garage mostly). No battery issues; actually no issues but do experience the occurrences of dim console and have had to do the infotainment reset a few times. I fully expect future software updates to fix these glitches. The one thing that weighs on my mind is the fuel injectors issue; once that is resolved as not an issue for me or the injectors are replaced I expect to be totally good with my Nautilus. No Fit & Finish issues … so far much better experience than my 2018 Navigator Black Label was (but I really liked the Navigator which was great after the initial issues were all worked out).

I had a dead battery at 3 weeks, less than 200 miles. Took 5 weeks to get replacement but back & going well.

We have the gas Nautilus….when we first got it, I put it on a battery tender and it took 2 full days to fully charge. Now after 1500 miles, and putting it on the Tender every other weekend, it reaches full trickle charge in about 4-8 hours. I truly believe regular Battery Tender use trains the battery to recognize it’s peak capacity.

I've had no battery issues with my non-hybrid. I drive it every day or two, generally for short distances. Do you think there's any reason to occasionally use a tender?

If you had a battery issue, I would like to know the build date. I was thinking the issue was related to early shipments with improper battery charge (reference the TSB).

I’ll give you my suggestion at the risk of sparking yet another Tender debate. My personal opinion: get a Deltran Battery Tender and put it on maybe every other weekend if you are driving just a few times a week. it takes about 30 seconds to hook it up, and I place a folded towel at the latch so I can close the hood, but not all the way. It can double the life of your battery as well as training it to be at its peak charge, which an alternator will never do. Your car will also be able to take unscheduled overnight updates as it requires at least 80% charge to take an OTA update.

I have a tender at another location and will bring it back to see how long it takes to reach full.

@foo3922 Noted there's a new CSP 24P14, VDM Causing Battery Drain, here: 2024 Nautilus software and battery issues
I added the second part of the CSP letter a few posts later.
This could be a significant piece of the "why's my battery draining?" problem.

How's the vehicle performing. We are considering perhaps the 2025 year black label. Concerned about all the automation having issues.

With the small sample size and combining the vehicle hybrid/non-hybrid it leaves 23 or 74% with no issue and 8 or 26% with a problem.
Now, whether these statistics hold up to the general population of 11,000ish vehicles is a different story.

No problem so far. When I checked for recalls the only one that showed up was for the injectors.

I have had my battery (non plug in hybrid nautilus) go into sleep mode, had it replaced and Lincoln Corporate said I should be able to go 28 days without driving to recharge the battery

Had car back just 3 weeks , 520 miles approx. & last night another dead battery - It has been in a dealership 50% of time I have owned it! First time - I guess I was unlucky but 2nd time - this is a big issue for me.

I had mine for three weeks and it went in the shop with an electrical issue. They kept it two weeks trying to figure it out. While there it got damaged and went to the body shop. Lincoln just sent me a buy back offer to buy it back from me and start over. And it was a full price buy back and $2500 for my time.

My dealer sent a valet with a loaner (2023 Aviator with 1000 miles) on June 6 and returned it next day. They performed the 3 recalls (injector replacement & 2 software updates) and washed it.
Since then there has been 1 on-line update. So I no longer have to worry about the injector issue and the software glitches seem much less frequent. I am very happy and highly recommend the new Nautilus’ … later build 2024 and later. One issue for me with a 2025 is that ( from what I have read ) they are eliminating Park Assist which I rarely used in my 2018 Navigator, but the few times I did it was a ‘life-saver’.
