“Right now, I charge clients $600/month to upload 30 pins and four to six Idea Pin Videos to their account to get them blog and website traffic,” she said. “I love that it’s flexible, freelance work I can do in a batch setting, and I don’t have to be available at my client’s beck and call like a traditional 9-to-5, so it works well as a side hustle.”

“Perhaps one of the most flexible and lucrative ways of making some extra money is to become an independent freelancer,” said personal finance expert Erika Kullberg, founder of Erika.com.
“Whether you consider writing, graphic design, web development or digital marketing as your thing, platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer and Fiverr have made it easy to match your skills and services with clients who would be willing to pay on an hourly, daily or even project basis,” she said.
While the amount you’ll make depends on a range of factors, including your skill, experience and prices your competitors set, Kullberg suggested, “Create an impeccable profile and engage in consistent product delivery, and you get to build a client bank that sustains you for as long as you so desire.”
Be a Pet Sitter
“This is probably my favorite option for side hustles you can do from home for a couple of reasons,” said Andrea Woroch, money money-saving expert. “If you work from home, it’s a great way to earn extra money at the same time as your desk job. Otherwise, set your schedule to pet sit when you will be home at night or on the weekends.
“Finally, pet sitting is the perfect side hustle for animal lovers, as you can get some canine companionship without taking on the high costs of owning your own dog or cat.”
Online Tutoring
If you’re strong in a particular academic subject area, there are students worldwide who might be willing to pay for your expertise.
“Sign up as a virtual tutor via Tutors.com or Varsity Tutors to earn $20 to $50 per hour, depending on the subject you’re assisting with. You can tutor nights or weekends, depending on when you’re home. All you need is a computer or laptop and a Wi-Fi connection to get started,” Woroch said.
Become an Amazon Influencer
Mark Webster, co-founder of Authority Hacker, said that one of the best ways to earn extra income from home is through the Amazon influencer program.
“Essentially, you film a short product review video and post it under Amazon listings — if people purchase after watching, Amazon gives you a commission,” he said. “The best thing about the program is that you don’t have to invest anything to start. You can pick any product from your home listed on Amazon and start filming. It can be your phone, sneakers, coffee machine, etc. Your phone is good enough to film the reviews; people are looking for honest, amateur reviews, not professional shoots!”
