Just last week, 8,259 people got Nomorobo protection!
I work nights and would often be woken during the day by continuous calls from Telemarketers. Some would call 4-6 times one after the other. Often 12-15 unanswered calls a day. They were relentless. Since the day I activated Nomorobo my house has been at peace. Now when the phone rings, I actually answer it.
It's great! I recommend it to anyone who'll listen. It's a free service I'd gladly pay for.

My wife and I are finally getting control of our phone back. We love the peace and quiet that NOMOROBO has achieved for us. Thank You a hundred times.

I think it's the best thing since 'sliced bread'. My spouse and I look at each other and laugh when we hear that one ring. Another marketer left high and dry! A great help in this age of intrusion.

I think Nomorobo is the best for blocking unwanted calls. I had this service for a couple of years, but we moved to an area not supported by Verizon FIOS and are now unable to subscribe to Nomorobo.

Love it. Wonderful not to be disturbed by unwanted calls

Tremendous satisfaction to avoid those annoying calls. I'd be thrilled if the "Unknown/Unavailable" calls could similarly be blocked.
An 855 area code number is a type of toll-free number used in North America. Rather than being tied to a particular location, these numbers serve anywhere in the NANP (North American Numbering Plan), which includes the USA, Canada, Bermuda, and certain islands in the Caribbean.
Is 855 area code legitimate or a scam? Yes, the 855 area code is legitimate and safe. It is the prefix of the toll-free numbers used in the USA, Canada, and other North American islands. Although it is legal to use it for legal purposes, some people abuse it for illegal purposes such as scamming.
Answer: "Scam Likely" is a label that may show up on your caller ID when receiving an incoming call. This indicates that your mobile carrier has identified the number as likely being used by scammers or spammers based on their database of known spam sources.
It's considered a “toll-free” area code, like 800 or 888, used by many legitimate businesses and organizations. However, scammers and fraudsters often spoof calls to make them appear from familiar or trustworthy area codes like 833 to trick people into answering.
It depends. 833 is a toll-free number, and the caller may offer a legitimate service, solicitation, or survey. However, it's essential to do some research before answering any call from an 833 area code phone number to make sure that you are not being scammed or targeted for fraud.
You may get calls from the 855 area code for various reasons. The 855 toll-free number is a pre-fix used by many legitimate businesses. Like any other phone number, it can also be used by spammers and scam operations who mass distribute robo calls or use deceptive practices.
One way to check if a number is potentially a scam is to use a reverse phone number lookup service. These websites and apps allow you to enter a number and see public information associated with it, such as the registered name, location, and carrier.
Toll free numbers are owned by you. A carrier doesn't own it, and it can be transferred to the telecomm services you like. Professionalism. These numbers make a business look polished, even if you're running the show from a home office.
