    History

UniBank was established by staff of the Chemistry Department at the University of Western Australia in 1964. Originally called The University Staff Credit Society Limited, the company’s focus was to provide financial products and services to members of the university community at a time when obtaining finance was difficult for everyone.

Our success was born out of a vision to give university staff, students, graduates and their families better financial options. And while our look may have changed over time, our goal remains the same—to inspire, encourage and help our members achieve lifelong financial well-being.
