Use Authenticator with multiple Google Accounts

Open Authenticator on your phone and select the plus icon and select Add account. Select Work or school account then tap Scan a QR Code. Notes: If you can't use your camera to scan a QR Code, click Can't scan the image on your PC and tap Enter code manually on your mobile.

While setting up an authenticator app for 2FA you can view the setup key which we automatically generate as a QR code, but which can also be read in plain text by clicking on View setup key. It is sometimes also referred to as a "backup code" or "secret seed code".

Use Authenticator with multiple Google Accounts

At the top right corner of the home screen, tap your profile picture or initials. Tap Add another account. Select the account you want to add, or sign in to a new Google Account. When asked to start saving codes to the Google Account, tap Allow.

Google Authenticator app generates a six-digit code for you to enter when you log in. The code changes about every minute. Once you have set up the connection with ACF's site, every time that you log out of your ACF account you will need to use Google Authenticator to regain access when you login again.

If you're having problems logging in using your authenticator app: Make sure you're entering the correct passcode - Each code lasts 30 seconds before it expires and is replaced with a new code. Make sure you're entering the latest code offered by your authenticator app.

How do I transfer my Google Authenticator app to a new device? To set up Google Authenticator on your new phone without your old phone, simply install the app and then scan the QR code from your Google Account. If you have another phone with the app set up, you can also scan a QR code from that device.

Open the Microsoft Authenticator app. Select the plus sign (+) at the top of the screen. Select 'work or school account' then 'Scan a QR code'. Use your mobile device to scan the code on your browser.

The first user who activates the account must copy the QR code / secret code that is displayed on the authenticator setup screen. That person can then share the codes with any other users who will log in with the same account (to activate the authenticator app on their devices).
