I have a credit card that is expiring at the end of this month and I just activated the replacement credit card. I deleted (removed) the old credit card from passport and I added the new one in. However, when the new credit card was added into passport , I get the credit card in passport...Activating.. Your card is being activated. Is this normal and how long should it be in this state ?

It should remain in the "activating" state for perhaps 10 or 20 seconds. It sounds like you should remove the card and try again. If problems, persist, notify your credit card issuer.

I removed the card and tried again. This time the "activating" was less than 5 min (it could have been less than a minute but I didn't time it) and then it was activated.
