I want one, but really? I would rather have a gun if I can’t have a real one…

So going to be very interesting I’m a security officer in the state of California with an armed exposed Permit, I don’t see much issue with that while I’m on duty. As far as being able to carry it as a civilian, I do have questions because if I understand it they are classifying it as a firearm. So lawfully can a civilian carry on the person rightfully and legally just like a regular taser.

The right to a well armed militia... why would cops be allowed to have things that civilians cannot... because a corrupt governments only enemy is the people.... level the playing field and allow everyone to protect themselves. Great piece of equipment 10/10 I really appreciated the axon roadshow

Real hoping you do not need FFL they can change gunpowder and switch it to co2 nitrogen gas and taser 10 gunpowder one will be sold to law enforcement only

Really, gunpowder! That's ironic! It's a less lethal device that uses gunpowder and is considered a firearm. Go figure.

Very excited for the Taser 10, and still hoping we'll see a consumer version. The Taser 10 will require sale through a FFL, and be treated as a handgun, because the cartridges actually use gunpowder this time around for propulsion. That means this Taser is actually a firearm, and has to be sold as such.
It's possible we'll see a different cartridge available that is gas propelled only, but I have a feeling this is either not going to make it home or will require an FFL to buy it... I'd still go through an FFL (and do a FSC in CA and a 10 day wait) to get one :)
