This digital ticketing system is part of some exciting new ticketing procedures being implemented for events at AXS ticketed venues.

This simple and easy to use system has replaced the older, less flexible model of the print at home PDF ticket. It is a real step forward for fans of live entertainment – to find out all about it – see below!

Getting Started

What is AXS Mobile ID?

AXS Mobile ID is a digital ticketing system and the only admission method at The O2 and the OVO Arena Wembley. It eliminates paper tickets and allows you to enter events with a quick scan of your ticket on an app. AXS Mobile ID allows you to manage your tickets digitally. In the future, it will also give you the ability to sell and buy seats through AXS Official Resale endorsed by the venues.

Why was AXS Mobile ID launched?

AXS Mobile ID allows for convenience, flexibility and security. Fans can manage tickets digitally and remain assured that all tickets are authentic and secure. The move to AXS Mobile ID is designed to put tickets in the hands of fans, not touts.

How does the system give fans security?

To alleviate the problems surrounding counterfeiting, all tickets are assigned to individuals via AXS Mobile ID. This includes a dynamically changing barcode system, which ensures that the tickets cannot be copied or shared illegally, emphasising AXS’ ongoing commitment to combatting touts. By eliminating paper tickets fans are guaranteed easy entry to the venue, either as a group or individually, through simply scanning their app.

How do I create an account for my AXS Mobile ID ticket?

Visit AXS.com or the AXS app and click on ‘Sign Up’ at the top of the page. You will be asked to enter some basic account information. After completing the information, you are free to buy tickets and manage them in your account.

What if I don't want to use AXS Mobile ID?

AXS Mobile ID is the main delivery option for AXS ticketed venues.

How will I know my tickets have been delivered to my account?

You will receive an email notifying you of the delivery.

Can I add my ticket to my phone’s wallet?

Due the nature of the ticket and it’s barcode that changes every 59 seconds, it needs to be located in the AXS App.

Entering the venue

How do I get into the venue?

With AXS Mobile ID, your one of a kind barcode gets you into the venue quickly.

Please have your AXS Mobile ID barcode displayed via the AXS or venue app when you approach the venue entrance, Wi-Fi is available at all entrances, but your ticket will work without wifi in place.

Please do the following:

- Ensure you have the latest version of the app installed
- Have the UK region applied
- Have your phones date and time settings set to automatic
- Screen is set to maximum brightness.

Also - please do not take a screen shot of your ticket. For security, the bar codes changes every 59 seconds.

Show your AXS Mobile ID ticket to the Guest Services Representative who will scan it through a hand-held device and admit you to the venue.

What happens if people do not have the ability to download the AXS App or have a smart phone?

If you do not have a smart phone or your run out of battery, please head to the venue box office with ID and booking confirmation.

Also, you can go to your AXS Account on a desktop computer and forward your tickets to a friend with a smart phone and enter with them.

What if I lose my phone / run out of battery?

Please visit the box office at the venue on show night.

What about the recent system of putting names on tickets – how does this work with AXS Mobile ID?

As the AXS Mobile ID tickets are based on a person’s identity, the name of the owner of the ticket automatically transfers once sold. Names are automatically added, adding a layer of security.

Does my phone need to be on local time?

Yes, to help ensure entry, please ensure your phone is set to the countries time zone.

I’ve bought resale tickets through another website for a AXS Mobile ID event, will I still be able to enter?

AXS Official Resale is the only legitimate platform to purchase resale tickets for shows at AXS ticketed venues. If you purchase resale tickets through other websites, you may be refused access to the venue.

Why do I need to download an app to access my ticket?

We completely understand your apprehension. The technology provided through the AXS app offers a secure and trusted ticketing experience. Any number of things can happen to PDF or paper tickets. When you use the AXS app, you get a revolving digital barcode that is not just a ticket, but is your identity and allows you to enter events with a simple yet secure scan. We hope you find the process easy and secure when it comes time for your event!

When you choose AXS Mobile ID as your ticket delivery method, you are choosing the secure and trusted technology provided through the AXS app. When you use the app, you get a revolving QR code that is not just a ticket - it's your event identity and works to eliminate ticket fraud and theft. This code allows you to enter events with a simple yet secure scan with or without an internet connection. We hope you find it easy to use!

Transferring on AXS Mobile ID

Transferring your seats

A seat transfer allows you to give each guest in your party their own entry ticket digitally via AXS Mobile ID. With seat transfers, you no longer need to worry about delivering the paper tickets to them in advance or meeting them outside of the entrance to walk in together. There is no fee for transferring seats and you are able to make unlimited transfers.

This is done simply through the AXS or venue app – and can be done right up to the event (one hour after door time). Ideally though, this should be done before you arrive at the venue.

By following the instructions below, you can transfer tickets simply and quickly – leaving you to enter the venue with your guests to join you later.

Following these instructions, your guests will be able to enter when they arrive using their own AXS Mobile ID ticket. Make sure your friends have downloaded the AXS App to be prepared!

Can I cancel a transfer?

It depends on whether the guests you are transferring to already have an AXS Account. If they already have an account, the seats are transferred instantaneously to their account, so you cannot cancel a transfer once you have initiated it. If the people you are transferring to do not have an AXS Account and do not pick up the tickets you have transferred, you can cancel a transfer.

How many times can a ticket be transferred?

There is no limit on how many times a ticket can be transferred.

Are there any tickets that are not transferable?

There may be times where a block on transferability is requested by the promoter – if this happens, this will be marked clearly at purchase stage.

I bought tickets as a gift for somebody, how do I give them these to them if I am not attending the event?

You can select the transfer option in your account and send them the tickets directly.

What if my friends arrive later than me?

You can transfer the tickets with them in a few easy steps.

Can I share screen shots of the tickets with friends?

No – AXS Mobile ID tickets include an anti-tout mechanism that ensures the tickets cannot be copied, as part of this, the bar code changes within the AXS App every 59 seconds.

What is AXS Official Resale and how does it benefit fans?

AXS Official Resale gives fans a safe, simple, and official way to buy and sell tickets. If fans have tickets from AXS but can’t make it to an event, they can sell their tickets at a fair price (no more than 10% above the price paid). If they need seats for an event, they can be confident that all tickets from AXS, even ones sold by other fans, are guaranteed to be authentic. We believe AXS Official Resale will help prevent touts and inflated ticket prices while providing fans with a secure way to buy and sell tickets for the most popular events.

Resale tickets are available for many events and you’ll see them alongside standard tickets on the seat map. All of your options – standard, resale, and VIP – will appear in one spot, making it easier than ever to get the perfect tickets for your must-see events.

Why should I sell tickets with AXS?

AXS Official Resale provides fans with the fastest, simplest way to sell tickets they can no longer use at AXS ticketed venues. It’s also the official place to sell tickets endorsed by the artist, team, or venue.

How do I sell tickets with AXS?

Listing your tickets for sale is simple:

  • Log in to your AXS account and click MY EVENTS in the toolbar
  • Find the event and tickets you want to list for sale and click SELL
  • Tick the boxes for the tickets you want to list for sale
  • Enter your selling price per ticket (Capped at a maximum of 10% above the price paid), the listing expiration date and time, and add any additional seat description
  • Click PREVIEW OFFER, then click CONFIRM OFFER and your seat will be posted on the event purchase flow within one hour.

What if I change my mind and no longer want to sell my tickets?

If you’ve changed your mind about selling your ticket, and no longer want to list for sale, simply go to your account, locate the ticket and remove from listing with one simple click. You’ll then receive an email confirming your tickets are no longer listed for sale.

When does a listing expire?

It’s up to you! When listing tickets, you decide how long your listing will be available for others to buy. They can be listed with AXS Official Resale until One hour after event start time – following this time they’ll be automatically taken off sale. Please note: the event start time is subject to change and published times are for guidance only.

When can tickets be listed for sale with AXS?

Tickets can be sold on AXS Official Resale once released into your account (this time can vary between a few days from an event going on sale to closer to the event). They can then be sold right up until one hour after doors open, giving both sellers and buyers flexibility in the resale market.

Can I sell my ticket if it isn’t for an event at AXS ticketed venues?

Not at this time, but we are looking to open up the technology to all venues and promoters so that this option is available for all our events.

How will I receive payment for tickets I’ve sold?

Add your bank or PayPal account details to your MyAXS account.

UK customers, you’ll need to follow these steps:

- Sign into your MyAXS account
- Go to ‘Selling Info’ in UK section
- Click on the ‘Account Type’ pull down and chose Bank Account
- Add the Branch Sorting Code and Account Number

If you’re from outside the UK or do not have a UK bank account, you’ll need to follow these steps:

- Sign into your MyAXS account
- Go to ‘Selling Info’ in UK section
- Click on the ‘Account Type’ pull down and chose PayPal
- Add the email address of your PayPal account.
- If you do not have a PayPal account, please click here

Once added, your payment will reach your designated bank or PayPal account within 10 days after the event date.

Why do I not receive payment until after the event?

This is due to the checks we need to have in place around fraud protection.

Why is there a 10% cap?

We are introducing what we think is the most pragmatic solution to the resale of tickets. We appreciate that fans who have bought tickets but cannot attend the show for whatever reason will want to sell their tickets and that they may have incurred some costs during the purchase process.

We think it is fair that they are able to recoup at least some of that outlay. Also, we think a 10% cap does not provide enough of a margin to satisfy the cynical and determined ticket tout and in doing so will take the incentive away from bulk buying tickets for resale.

We are committed to combatting touting issues and the exploitation of real music fans and believe that we have taken a big step towards achieving these goals.

I bought my ticket from another ticketing provider; will I still be able to sell it on AXS Official Resale?

We are currently on-boarding all ticketing companies in the primary ticketing marketplace to be able to sell on AXS Official Resale. Choosing to adopt AXS Mobile ID will extend the security of purchasing resale tickets to all show attendees.

Buying tickets

Tickets for events can be purchased via AXS.com, the AXS app or the venue’s website and app. Go to the event you’d like to purchase tickets for and on that event page, both primary and resale tickets will be clearly marked.

I am struggling to purchase resale tickets – the system keeps blocking my purchase?

You have to match the number of tickets put up for sale by the seller. Sometimes the seller may request that all tickets are sold in one order, other sellers may be happy to sell (for example) 4 tickets one by one.

Also, you can only buy from one resale listing at a time per transaction. Therefore, there could be tickets listed for resale next to each other, but listed by different sellers. In this instance, you will need to make two separate bookings.

What if the event is sold out of standard tickets?

With AXS Official Resale, you always have a way to see the show or game. For an event that is “sold out,” keep checking the event page for tickets listed for sale by other fans. Resale tickets are available 24 hours after tickets first go on sale to the general public right up to the day of the event. You’ll see resale tickets on the seat map alongside any standard tickets that are available. Standard tickets are shown in blue, and resale tickets are shown in orange. This gives fans the best opportunity to see what’s available – all in one place – for a fair price.

How will I know if my purchase was successful?

You’ll receive a confirmation email soon after purchase, and you’ll get another email as soon as the tickets are delivered to your AXS account and ready to view in the app. Please keep an eye on your junk folders.

Can I contact the buyer directly?

No – AXS handles payment and delivery so buyers and sellers remain completely anonymous. Buyers get tickets delivered straight to their AXS account, and sellers are transferred their money through AXS

Why can’t I sell my ticket?

Your ticket may not be available for AXS Official Resale. This could be due to the promoter requesting the show is unavailable for resale, the ticket is for a VIP club / lounge or your ticket is priced as a special offer. If you’re buying a ticket for a show where AXS isn’t the main venue ticketing provider, AXS Official Resale currently isn’t available for your ticket.

Why can't I sell my tickets on AXS? ›

Your ticket may not be available for AXS Official Resale. This could be due to the promoter requesting the show is unavailable for resale, the ticket is classed as VIP, or your ticket is priced as a special offer.

Why can't I transfer my AXS tickets? ›

Why can't I Transfer? If you do not see a Transfer button on your AXS App or if it is grayed out, this means that your event is not eligible for transfers or shares. However, Transfer may become available at a later time. Feel free to check back from time to time before your event takes place.

Can I get a refund on AXS tickets? ›

Please note that all sales are final, and refunds are only allowed in limited circ*mstances, as explained in our Purchase Agreement: If your event has been cancelled and not rescheduled, no action is required to receive a refund. Your refund will be processed to the payment method used at the original time of purchase.

How much does AXS charge to resell tickets? ›

Resale Fee

This fee is shared between AXS and our clients. This is to help cover the costs involved in running our business and offering you the ability to purchase tickets online. This fee is capped at 10% of the sale price.

Is it safe to resell tickets on AXS? ›

AXS Official Resale gives fans a safe, simple, and official way to buy and sell tickets. If fans have tickets from AXS but can't make it to an event, they can sell their tickets at a fair price (no more than 10% above the price paid).

How long does it take to get money after selling tickets on AXS? ›

After you complete the transfer, the money will be in your bank account in 7-10 business days. NOTE: Please do not attempt to transfer money before the event takes place or your transfer request will be cancelled.

Can I give my AXS tickets to someone else? ›

You can select the "Transfer" option in your account and send them the tickets directly, provided they have an AXS Account.

Can you sell tickets directly to someone on AXS? ›

You can generally sell tickets if they were purchased from AXS and AXS Official Resale is available for the event.

Why are some tickets not transferable? ›

The option may not be available for one of the following reasons: The venue doesn't offer Ticket Transfer yet (we're working on that). The artist or venue turned Ticket Transfer off for that event/section. The event was canceled (ticket buyers get automatic refunds).

Does AXS charge to transfer tickets? ›

There is no fee for transferring seats and you are allowed unlimited transfers. Here's how it works: Click the Transfer button next to the event in your AXS account. Select the tickets to transfer and enter the recipient's information.

Can I cancel selling AXS tickets? ›

Sign in to your account on AXS.com. Click on “Your Tickets” then click “Listed”. Click the event, then click “Listed”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Delete Listing”.

How late can you sell tickets on AXS? ›
