Bayern Munich extend Adidas kit deal to 2030 in reported £650million deal (2024)

If the reported figure is correct then the German giants' contract is second only to Manchester United who signed a £750m deal with Adidas last year

Bayern Munich have signed a contract extension with Adidas until 2030, the sportswear giant has confirmed.

According to reports in Germany, the deal is worth €900million (£650million) and will see Bayern receive €60million (£43million) per season.

Adidas spokesman Oliver Bruggen said: "The contract extension until 2030 sees Adidas continue its decades-long successful partnership with FC Bayern Munich.

"We will focus even more closely in future on partnerships with selected top clubs and associations in international football and with young emerging players."

Asked about the reported value of the deal, he added: "Contract totals are generally not discussed publicly at Adidas."

If the reported figure is correct, the deal will be the second most lucrative in world football behind Manchester United.

The Red Devils signed a £750million deal with Adidas last summer, ending their 13-year association with Nike.

Adidas have now handed out four of the top five kit deals within football with United, Bayern, Real Madrid and Chelsea each receiving £30million or more per annum.
