Most buyers are going to use a credit card for payment, for them the more important date would be the credit card Statement date. There is no common date for that, could be any day of the month.
Speaking for myself, weekends are not very good for sales, my best days are usually Mon/Tue but even that is highly variable.
One consistent thing, this board, other boards not related to eBay and my email inbox have much less activity than Mon-Fri.
