Blackstone’sfounder and CEO,Stephen A. Schwarzman, took home $896.7m in 2023, according to regulatory filings.

Schwarzman’s total income, including compensation and payments from dividends, was 29% down from the $1.27bn he took home in 2022, a drop that reflects the lower dividends paid by and performance fees earned by the firm in 2023.

The vast majority of the $896.7m came from dividends on his Blackstone stock, according to the asset manager’s latest 10-K filing.
