Campaign (2024)

The Campaign is the main storyline of Hero Wars and is divided into 15 chapters in browser and 13 chapters at mobile.Each chapter includes several missions, usual and heroic, that your Heroes must beat in order to advance along a path over changing scenery.At the end of a chapter, a boss may be waiting.

Each mission has three stages containing one to five Enemies.At the start of the mission your Heroes are at full health and have zero Energy.After each stage/battle, all effects are reset but the current health and energy are carried over.

Starting a mission requires a certain amount of Energy, Heroic Missions require more.Beating all three stages will award team experience, hero experience, and loot.Heroic Missions can also reward the player with Hero Soul Stones.

After completing a mission, you are also awarded a number of stars, from the maximum of 3 stars you lose one star per death hero until 1 star minimum.Earning three stars allows you to raid the mission (requires VIP).By earning enough stars players can unlock additional rewards (represented by chests) and minigames (represented by puzzle pieces).

Loot[]

Each mission can drop a random amount of loot, that includes Gold, Hero Equipment, Hero Soul Stone and EXP Potion.

The first successful completion of a mission will always reward all possible loot. The exception to the randomness is when using raid. Raiding 10 times or more in 1 click, as opposed to 10 or more clicks of 1 time, will guarantee at least 1 item of each of the items at regular missions (see [1]). For hero missions, the same concept is true of soul stones, when raiding 3 times with 1 click (see [2]). After the first successful completion, only Gold is guaranteed to drop with a fixed value (depending on the mission), everything else can drop in a quantity of 1, based on a fixed drop rate (independent of the mission):

Hero Soul Stone: 33%
White equipment: 50%
Green equipment: 40%
Blue equipment: 30%
Violet equipment: 20%
Orange equipment: 20%
Red equipment: 20%

The chance to drop EXP Potions varies depending on the chapter:

Chapter 1: Small EXP Potion 10%
Chapter 2: Small EXP Potion 20%
Chapter 3: Small EXP Potion 25%
Chapter 4: EXP Potion 5%
Chapter 5: EXP Potion 7%
Chapter 6: EXP Potion 10%
Chapter 7: EXP Potion 12%
Chapter 8+: EXP Potion 15%

Side note: there is a mini game in mission 6 of chapter 9, where players must click the items on and near the skull island, in the correct order, to receive a certain amount of gold and bronze chests as reward (the exact amounts can vary).
