Yes, it is possible to program a large number of Near Field Communication (NFC) tags. You may be able to have the company supplying the transponders write the data to the tag before it is delivered. This would be the easiest way to do it, if your supplier offers such a service. You could also set up an NFC reader to write to tags. You would need to set up a conveyor or roll-to-roll system to have the tags pass through the read-write zone so the interrogator could write to a group of tags, and then another group and so on. Your NFC reader should have an interface that allows you to write to tags.
