Can any person see our bank account? Or balance?
Dear Client,
Bank details are private and are not shared by banks with third party. Even bankers deny police regarding such information.
Only option to get the said details is via court procedure, whereby if Hon'ble Court feels that the said information is required, Court may direct the concern bank.
Further this is forum to resolve QUERIES and not to answer educations questions. It would be appreciated, if next time you put your query in details.

Answer is Yes as well as No.
1st No. Why?
As per Banking Law except authorised staff in Bank staff no third person except customer can see or know the account information, balance etc.
2nd Yes. Why?
If the 3rd person is a hacker he can know the details.
If bank data is stolen or bank itself sold to any third person, then.
While withdrawing or depositing the money in bank or ATM if 3rd person sees over the shoulder or otherwise, then.
If customer discloses his account details via media like phone, email etc to other person, then.
If any person knows customers account number he can deposit some money in that customer's account and he can ask cashier the balance and cashier generally tells the balance only not the other details to that third person, then.
And as per Reserve Bank Of India Act and The Finance Ministry of India can cancel the license of Bank or can take other stringent actions against the Bank, if Bank flouts these laws.

The privacy and security of your bank account information are paramount, and unauthorized access to your bank account is a serious concern. Here's what you need to know about who can access your bank account without your permission:
- Bank Employees: Bank employees, including tellers and customer service representatives, are bound by strict confidentiality rules. They should not access your account information without a valid reason related to their job duties. Unauthorized access by bank employees is a breach of trust and can lead to disciplinary actions and legal consequences.
- Others with Access: Your bank account information is typically confidential, and other individuals or entities should not have access without your permission. Sharing your account number or other sensitive information with unauthorized individuals can potentially expose your account to risks.
- Bank Statements: Your bank statements contain sensitive financial information. While these statements are typically mailed to your registered address or accessible through secure online banking, it's essential to safeguard them and dispose of them properly to prevent unauthorized access.
- Checking Account Balance: Generally, individuals or entities outside the bank cannot access your account balance with just your account number. However, it's crucial to keep your account number and other sensitive information confidential to minimize the risk of unauthorized access.
- Law Enforcement: In certain legal situations, law enforcement agencies may request access to bank account information as part of an investigation. However, this typically requires proper legal procedures and court orders.
- Protecting Your Account: To enhance the security of your bank account, consider the following:
- Never share your account number, PIN, or online banking login credentials with anyone you do not trust explicitly.
- Regularly monitor your account statements and report any suspicious or unauthorized transactions to your bank immediately.
- Use strong and unique passwords for online banking, and enable two-factor authentication if available.
- Be cautious of phishing attempts and unsolicited calls or messages asking for your financial information.
In conclusion, your bank account information is intended to be private, and unauthorized access is generally prohibited. Bank employees have a duty to maintain confidentiality. However, it's essential to remain vigilant and take precautions to protect your account from potential security breaches. If you suspect unauthorized access or fraudulent activity, contact your bank promptly to address the issue.
