It may be possible to use iGPU and discrete GPU. It depends on available options in BIOS. But enabling iGPU will not help gaming performance. On intel CPUs enabling iGPU allows use of QuickSync feature (for video encoding/decoding) and additional video outputs of motherboard (to connect additional monitors).
Can integrated graphics and dedicated graphics work together?
No, in computers with both integrated and dedicated graphics, the OS will generally switch from one to the other. There is no SLI or anything like that that I know of which would allow you to combine the two very different GPUs.

Can you use APU and GPU at the same time?
They will not work on the same task (game/video coding) at the same time. Normal scenario, your apu will be sitting idle all the time unless you connect a second monitor to it in which case it will still barely do anything.
Do I need iGPU if I have dedicated GPU?
No, in simple terms, if you have a discrete GPU, your graphic processing won’t use the igpu at all, unless you have minor graphical load and technologies like Nvidia Optimus. Not having an igpu will make all your graphic processing work done through the discrete gpu.
How do I enable iGPU in bios?
Step 1: Hold or tap the ‘Delete’ key immediately after powering on the system to enter the bios. Step 2: Use the arrow keys to choose ‘Advanced’ menu > System Agent (SA) ConfigurationGraphics Configuration > iGPU Multi-Monitor setting > Enable as below.
Can I use Intel and Nvidia graphics together?
Generally it is possible to connect one Monitor to the Nvidia GPU and the other to the Intel iGPU.
Should I enable iGPU?
If your processor provides you better graphics quality than the discrete graphics card, the games and media you run on your PC will automatically run on the integrated graphics. If there is another way of enabling it, you should do it if you think that there will be not much power consumption.
Can you use Ryzen APU with graphics card?
No, it doesn’t have an integrated gpu. Processors with vega graphics are called apu’s buy them if you don’t want/require a discrete gpu. You will need a separate GPU with that CPU.

Can you crossfire APU and GPU?
Can I Crossfire Apu And Gpu? The AMD A-Series APU graphics can work together with the select Radeon HD 6000 Series GPU equipped with the select AMD VISION Engine Control Center’s “Performance” section if the Enable Crossfire button is checked in AMD VISION Engine Control Center.
Is iGPU important for gaming?
Gamers who use discrete cards are a tiny minority. Your iGPU can be made useful. It’s good for extra video outputs, for instance, and has some features you can use such as Quicksync, which greatly speeds up video encoding in those programs that support it.
How much RAM does integrated graphics use?
Integrated graphics don’t have a memory bank sequestered somewhere. Instead they draw from the same system memory as the processor. So, if your laptop has 8GB of RAM, the Intel HD Graphics chip will take some of that capacity, often as little as 64 or 128MB, for itself.
Is integrated GPU good for gaming?
For everyone else, integrated graphics is just fine. It can work for casual gaming. It’s more than good enough for most Adobe programs. And as long as you’ve got a fairly modern processor, it will be able to handle 4K video.
Is integrated graphics a GPU?
Integrated graphics is a GPU built into the processor. Integrated graphics hardware doesn’t use a separate memory bank for graphics/video. Instead, the GPU uses system memory that is shared with the CPU.
