I recently received a new Barclaycard. My previous Barclaycard was in my wallet and verified no problem. Every time I try to add the new card it says verification can not be completed at this time. I’ve tried switching passcode on and off, deleting and retrying and nothing has worked. I’ve somehow managed to get it added to my Apple Watch and I’ve used that to pay today, but I don’t actually know how that’s happens as I didn’t add it direct to my watch and it keeps failing on my phone??? So confused and frustrated!

This solution solved similar problem of mine.
Its was caused because of 2 active sim card ( e-sim + normal sim ) at once when I tried to verify my card in wallet.
Solution is to "temporary" disable the sim card where is no bound to your bank account.
