Change your payment method (2024)

The steps for changing your discovery+ payment details vary depending on who bills you. If you know who bills you, skip to Step 2.

Step 1: Find who bills you

If you're not sure who bills you for discovery+, search your email accounts for a discovery+ subscription email (try searching for discovery+).

You can also find who bills you on your Account page. Here's how:

1. Sign in at discoveryplus.com.
2. Choose your profile (upper right) and then Account.
3. In the Billing section:
   • If discovery+ bills you, choose Update, add your payment details, and choose Save.
   • If a TV provider bills you, you'll see discovery+ via (company name).
   • If an app store bills you, you'll see 'Changes to billing details must be made on the app store' message.

Step 2: Change your payment method

Choose who bills you for discovery+ and follow the steps:

• discoveryplus.com
• App store
• TV package

Here's how to update your payment details:

1. Sign in at discoveryplus.com.
2. Choose your profile icon (upper right) and then Account.
3. In the Billing section, choose Update.
   If Update isn't available, your subscription is billed through an app store or with your TV package.
4. Add your new payment method information and choose Save.

Subscribed through an app store

If you subscribed through the discovery+ app, choose your app store to find out how to change your payment details:

• Amazon: Manage payment methods
• Apple: Update your payment method
• Google Play: Edit your Google Play payment method
• Roku: Update your payment method
• Samsung: Go to samsungcheckout.com and sign in to your Samsung account. Choose Payment Method > Add Payment Method > Credit/Debit Card.

Subscribed with a TV package

If you get discovery+ with your TV package, please contact them to change your payment details.
