A unique and memorable Venmo username will make it easier for friends to find you. Read on to learn how to update your username on Venmo.
If you don’t remember what your username is, you can always check and update that whenever you’d like. Open the Venmo app, and go to the Me tab. Your username will be displayed near the top of the screen.
You can change your username in the Venmo app:
- In the Venmo app, go to the Me tab by tapping your picture or initials
- Tap the Settings gear in the top right
- Select Account under Preferences
- Tap Profile and update your username
Please note that your username will need to be between 5 and 30 characters (no special characters other than - and _ ).
You can update your username on the web, or select Settings then Profile from the left side of your screen to view or edit your username.
