Value of U.S. One Dollar Coins

Despite their perhaps seemingly elusive nature, the vast majority of these coins are extremely common and still only worth their face value of one dollar.

Eventually, the reserve supply of halves began to run low and in 2021, the mint resumed production of half dollars for general circulation. Modern-date half dollars can be purchased in proof sets, mint sets, rolls, and bags from the U.S.

Ten dimes make up one dollar. A dime is worth ten cents ($0.1). A dollar ($1.00), on the other hand, is equivalent to 100 cents. Since ten goes into 100 ten times, ten dimes would therefore make up one dollar.
