Depository Participant Service

NIC AISA Capital Limited received the registration certificate to function as a Depositary Participant (DP) of Central Securities Depository from Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 02 July 2017. NIC ASIA Capital together with our parent company, NIC ASIA Bank Limited, is one of the market leaders in providing the DP Services. Our unparallel customer-centric approach to service delivery combined with the valued added services that are exclusively available only to our DP Clients makes our DP Services truly a remarkable and a must have services for the investment community.

Our DP Services includes:

Opening DEMAT Account;
Dematerialization of Physical Shares;
Re-Materialization of the Shares in your DP Account;
Maintaining up to date record of securities in the electronic form;
Providing Online access to your Account to view and track your shareholdings;
Settlement of trades by transferring/receiving the securities from/in the accounts;
Settlement of off-market trades that is occurred between the Beneficial Owner (BO - the investors) outside NEPSE;
Providing electronic credit of securities allotted by issuers during IPOs;
Depositing the non-financial corporate benefits (such as bonus, right shares, etc.) issued by issuers in the DEMAT Account of Beneficial Owners (BOs);
Facilitation of pledging of dematerialized securities.

Current Schemes in NIC ASIA DP Service

Lifetime AMC @ Rs. 999	The new and existing account holders who paid Rs. 999 AMC charge at once during the campaign (must not have Pending AMC) will be eligible for Lifetime AMC and Demat account will be renewed for 20 years and after completion of 20 year his/her Demat account will be renewed automatically until Demat account closed.	Valid till Fiscal Year 2080/81
Lifetime Mero Share @ 1,000	The new and existing account holders who paid Rs. 1,000 Mero Share charge at once during the campaign will be eligible for Lifetime Mero share and Mero Share account will be renewed automatically until Demat account closed.	Valid till Fiscal Year 2080/81
NIC ASIA Student DeMat Account Yojana	“NIC ASIA Student Demat Account Yojana” targeting colleges level student. Free Demat Account Opening charge Free Mero Share Registration Free first year Demat Account AMC. Under this scheme, students must submit Valid Student ID card compulsory to open Demat Account.	Valid till Fiscal Year 2080/81
Online Demat Account Opening	With the aim of providing fast Demat account number and hassles to the customer and encourage the use of digital technology to get Demat account number with easy and fast mode, NIC ASIA Capital is providing free Demat Account Opening service including first year AMC waiver to all the customer who applied Demat Account through Online.	Valid till Fiscal Year 2080/81
