New ways to find balance for you and your family.
It’s different for everyone.
When it comes to our phones, everyone wants something different. But we all want the same thing: to focus on what matters. Like our work and our family. Digital Wellbeing was built just for that. By talking to real people, learning their habits and giving them the tools to make better ones.

When you want to unplug.
Bedtime mode
When it's time to go to bed, Bedtime mode helps you switch off. Schedule it for your bedtime so it runs automatically. Or when you charge your phone. It turns your screen to grayscale and silences notifications with Do Not Disturb. No buzzing, beeping or endless scrolling to keep you up.
Work Profile
With Android, you get two profiles on one phone: work and personal. When you switch to personal, all your work apps stay hidden. Like your calendar, your emails, your notifications. So you can actually unplug at the end of the day, whether you’re leaving the office or just logging off. You can even set a schedule to turn on Work Profile automatically.
- Night Light
-
Tinting your phone’s screen to a warmer color helps you ease into the evening. It’s a great way to adjust for bedtime and get better sleep, too.
Focus
When you want to get stuff done.
Flip to Shhh
On all Pixel 3 and above devices, you can turn on Do Not Disturb easier than ever. All you have to do is put your device face down and you automatically mute your notifications. If you’re in a meeting or eating dinner, you can silence your phone without even touching the screen.
Focus mode
For getting in the zone and blocking out distractions. Focus mode lets you select apps to pause temporarily. So if you want to turn off a distracting app to get something done, all you have to do is tap. You can set a schedule to automatically turn on Focus mode as well.

- Do Not Disturb
-
Quickly silence your phone to mute all notifications and calls. Your phone screen won’t light up, and you can focus on whatever’s at hand.
- Customize notifications
-
You’re in control of which apps can send notifications. Decide which alerts you see, what they look like and how often you see them.
When you want to stay on track.
Dashboard
It’s everything Digital Wellbeing in one place. How much time you spend in your apps. Which ones send you the most notifications. Even how often you unlock your phone. Here’s where you set goals and make sure you’re on track to hit them.
App timers
In Digital Wellbeing, you can see which apps and websites you use most and set daily limits. Once you hit the limit, those apps and sites pause and notifications go quiet. So you’ll spend only the time you want, exactly where you want.
Find balance together with Family Link.
Family Link lets you connect a child's device to your own so you can set digital ground rules. Create screen time limits. Manage the apps and websites your child uses. Even lock a kid’s device remotely. Start by tapping on Digital Wellbeing and parental controls in Settings. Or download the Family Link app to begin.
Manage their apps.
Not every kid's screen time is created equal. You decide whether your kid can download apps from the Google Play Store. Manage purchases they make in apps. And hide the apps on their device you don’t want them to see.
Set limits.
How much screen time is right for your child? That’s up to you. Family Link lets you set screen time limits and a bedtime for their device. So you can help them find good balance.
