Find collaborative articles on all search engine results outside of LinkedIn. If you've contributor access, click Contribute expertise on the Share box at the top of your LinkedIn homepage to find relevant collaborative articles (Desktop only).
“Collaborative learning” is an umbrella term for a variety of educational approaches involving joint intellectual effort by students, or students and teachers together. Usually, students are working in groups of two or more, mutually searching for understanding, solutions, or meanings, or creating a product.
After experimenting with collaborative articles, my verdict is that if you have enough expertise to contribute to these articles, you likely have enough expertise to create and share your own content through more effective LinkedIn mediums like short-form posts and newsletters (like the one you're currently reading).
If they are interested in becoming a contributor, they can request for an invite to contribute by liking and reacting to the collaborative article. In the Collaborative Learning Model described by Reid et al. (1989), there are five phases for designing instruction for collaborative learning: engagement, exploration, transformation, presentation, and reflection.
Go to the “Articles” section under the “More” tab at the top of your LinkedIn feed, and then select “Articles” from the drop-down menu. This will take you to a page with many articles on various topics, both from LinkedIn Pulse and other sources. Plus, you can use the search bar on this page to find specific articles.
So, in answer to our initial question, LinkedIn articles are not dead, but they are different. To maximise the benefits of this format, it's important to incorporate them into a structured plan. Think about the way LinkedIn supports your digital marketing and make articles work as part of your broader strategy.
