To make picture taking easy, Disney has created an innovative way to capture digital memories of your family vacation called Memory Maker.
What is Memory Maker? Memory Maker is a photo package that gives you access to unlimited photo digital downloads of your Walt Disney World vacation to share, print or create custom keepsakes. You can save $30 by purchasing it in advance for $169 online or by adding it to your Walt Disney World Vacation Package before you leave home. Start using it three days after purchase and it expires 30 days after activation. To use the features of the product, you’ll need to link Memory Maker to your MagicBand, theme park ticket, Annual Pass or PhotoPass Card in your MyDisneyExperience Account. It’s easy to access, download or share the photos on MyDisneyPhotoPass.comor yourMy Disney Experience Account. Pictures are available for download for 45 days after each picture was taken.

With your Memory Maker Package, you have access to digital photos taken by Disney PhotoPass Photographers located at picture perfect spots throughout the Disney theme parks, select dining locations and character meet and greets. (If you ask them, PhotoPass Photographers will use your camera, IPad or phone to take a picture.) If you don’t purchase a Memory Maker Package, you can buy individual photos at $18.95 on MyDisneyPhotoPass.com. Prices below are for reference only and are subject to change.
Disney PhotoPass is an online portal where you can view your photos, personalize them by adding Disney-themed borders and then print them. Starting at $14.95, you can choose from personalized products including magnets, mugs, photo books, coasters, metal prints, ornaments, stationery, phone cases, place mats, and mouse pads. They make unique souvenirs and gifts!

Why buy Memory Maker? Imagine a priceless photo of your entire family posed in front of Cinderella’s Castle or the floating mountains in Pandora. How about an action shot as you plummet down Splash Mountain or drop 13 stories on Tower of Terror? Capture the moment your child hugs Mickey for the first time. Re-live your child’s transformation into a Princess at the Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique or a Swashbuckler at the Pirates League. Participants in Enchanted Tales with Belle receive a special PhotoPass card so they can view their “performance” in a tale as old at time. Memory Maker allows you to be in the moment, instead of behind the camera.

PhotoPass Photographers are usually on hand to snap a photo at special character meals and dinner shows, including the following locations:

- 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

- Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Cinderella’s Royal Table in Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom
- Tusker House Character Dining in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue in Disney’s Fort Wilderness
Planning a quick stop at the parks for a day? Want someone to snap some pix, so your hands are free for trick or treating during Mickey’s No So Scary Halloween Party? You’re in luck! Disney offers a Memory Maker One Day, which provides you with many of the same benefits as Memory Maker for just $69. For a single day of your choice, you’ll get digital downloads of yourDisney PhotoPassphotos linked to your account taken on that day. The Memory Maker One Day window begins at 6 a.m. EST and ends at 5:59 a.m. EST on the following day. After you have taken one PhotoPass photo, the “One Day” option appears in your My Disney Experience App. You’ll have 45 days to link and download your photos with this package.

Sometimes, Disney sprinkles a little pixie dust by adding “surprise” characters or cute animation to your photos. Tinker Bell or Stitch might magically “photo-bomb” your picture! Ask each Disney PhotoPass Photographer if you can pose for a Magic Shots or animation. Most magic shots are only available during the day. To learn which Magic Shots are currently available at each of the four theme parks, head over to theDisney PhotoPass ServiceFacebookpage, navigate to the Photos tab, and then to the Albums. Here you’ll find each park’s current Magic Shot offerings and where they can typically be found.
You won’t want to miss out on a brand new Limited Time opportunity to have your photos captured with one-of-a-kind shots and a super-zoom video from a unique angle above the theme park. The newest Animated Magic Shots will capture your character meet and greet from a bird’s-eye perspective (select meet and greets available and subject to change.). If you are traveling with more than one family, only one family needs to purchase Memory Maker as long as you are linked on MyDisneyExperience as friends and family. When you get home, you’ll have fun exploring all the fun ways to print and enjoy your photos. Watch this video about creating a Photo Memory Book. With all the incredible new experiences coming to Walt Disney World, now is the perfect time to plan your Disney vacation. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is now open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Important Details
Memory Maker Waiting Period – If Memory Maker is purchased at the advance purchase price, any photos taken within 3 days of the date Memory Maker is purchased are not included and must be purchased separately.
Remember to Save Your Photos – Please download all your PhotoPass photos and videos before they expire (45 days from the date they’re taken). Once they expire, they can no longer be purchased or downloaded.
Memory Maker Is Accessed Online – If you’re signed in when you purchase Memory Maker, it can be accessed by visiting Disney PhotoPass. If you’re not signed in, you’ll first need to claim your Memory Maker by visiting My Disney Experience.
Download Family & Friends Photos – You can not only download your own Disney PhotoPass photos, but also those of up to 25 members of your Family & Friends who share media with you.
