Westpac's 2024 interim ordinary and special dividend was announced on 6 May 2024 and was paid on 25 June 2024. They were 100% franked with Australian franking credits at the company tax rate of 30%. The interim ordinary dividend and special dividend carry NZ 0.06 cents per share and NZ 0.012 cents per share respectively of New Zealand imputation credits.


TheDividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) applied to the 2024 interim ordinary dividend and special dividend which operated as follows:

  • Shares were purchased on market to satisfy participant’s DRP entitlements;
  • the Market Price used to determine the number of shares provided to DRP participants, was set over 20 trading days commencing on 15 May 2024 and did not include a discount.
  • The Market Price for the DRP is $26.64 at which the shares were issued.
