Dying Light 2is full of weapon mods, equipment, and gear, making the player a full-blown parkour zombie killing machine which requires Infected Trophies for upgrades. But, as players continue to level up their skills and abilities, they'll also have to upgrade all of their tools like mods, lockpicks, the grappling hook, and even Dying Light 2's paragliderto keep their gear powerful enough. The only way to do this is by collecting Infected Trophies, which can be collected by searching the bodies of infected virals, volatiles, and any other type of infected that isn't just a regular biter. Unfortunately, these upgrades can get costly very quickly, soplayers will need a good way to farm trophies.
There are three different kinds of infected trophies in Dying Light 2. First, thereare 'Uncommon' trophies thatwill mostly belooted off of virals or other low-tier infected like bolters. Next, 'Rare' infected trophies can sometimes be looted off virals but will mostly befound on bigger infected like the Banshees and Goons. Finally, 'Unique' infected trophies have a slight chance of dropping from virals but will mostly drop from the strongest infected like Violtiles and GRE Anaomlies during thenight inDying Light 2.

Players need infected trophies to upgrade just about every piece of equipment in the game. This includes any weapon mods, throwables like the DIY grenade, healing medicine, immunity boosters, and even lockpicks. These upgrades can be bought at any craft master on the map and will get very costly after just a few upgrades to a single piece of equipment. Players won't just find infected trophies while running on rooftops or the streets during the day, so they'll have to resort to other farming methods if they want to get upgrades for their equipment fast. The only pieces of equipment that don't need infected trophies to upgrade are Nightrunner tools like the paraglider and Dying Light 2's grappling hook.
The Best Infected Trophies Farming Method in Dying Light 2
There are two efficient ways to farm infected trophies in Dying Light 2. The first is to go into any Dark Hollow/Forsaken Store during the day and kill all of the infected in each place. These areas are full of virals during the day and will drop Uncommon or Rare trophies 100% of the time. The second way to farm infected trophies in Dying Light 2is to head out during the night and start a chase by being seen by a howler. This will cause virals to run to the player's location, but players will need to be in a reasonably safe spot to avoid beingoverrun. High-up places like abandoned watchtowers or small rooftops are great for being safe, but players will have to bring many UV lights to loot the infected bodies as more come to attack.
Dying Light 2's infected trophies are essential for players looking for their equipment to remain useful at higher levels. Since the cost of upgrades is so great, these farming methods should ease the pain of going out and getting lucky to find certain trophies. Players should try to upgrade their lockpicks and medicine first as they level up. Stronger/quicker heals are also very useful for players with upgraded health bars, while upgraded lockpicks can force open even the most difficult chests.
