Is Post Office EasyID accepted? ›

Post Office EasyID can be used to prove your age and identity throughout the UK. It's accredited by the UK's national Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS).

The Post Office EasyID app is free to download and use. We don't think you should have to pay to prove your identity. The way your details are encrypted means we cannot mine or sell your data to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

Creating your EasyID takes about five minutes.

1. Download the free Post Office EasyID app from either the Apple or Android app stores 2. Consent to the capture of your biometrics to protect you and your account from fraud. driving licence by following the instructions on the app.

The Post Office EasyID cards provides a simple way to prove your full name, age or date of birth to someone else in-person, in a similar way to you might show a physical ID card. If you live somewhere other than the address listed on your ID, or if your ID does not have your address, you will need to provide proof of address with one of these documents: Lease, mortgage or deed of trust. Voter registration card. Vehicle registration card.

The short answer is no; an expired passport or photo ID is officially an invalid form of identification and cannot be used to verify identity when setting up a bank account, taking out a loan, buying a house or getting legal advice, for example.

The USPS offers address verification directly on their website. Addresses are processed one at a time by typing the address into the provided fields. The USPS also licenses their services to third-party companies that provide the CASS certification in bulk.

Your pick-up pass will tell you if any additional photo ID is needed. We only accept passport or driving licence.

The Postal Service® requires customers to provide acceptable and current proof of identity to receive specific products or apply for some services. Not all primary forms of photo identification are accepted for USPS products and services.

You can speak with any retail associate to verify your identity. Wait in line at the Post Office. The retail associate will scan your barcode and review your documents. After the retail associate has reviewed your documents, you're done at the Post Office.
