In addition to the specific activities associated with each program component, employee compensation and overhead costs directly related to carrying out street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, rapid re-housing, and HMIS are eligible costs of these program components.
Who is eligible to receive assistance under each program component and activity?
ESG funds must only be used to serve eligible program participants. ESG program participant eligibility is assessed based on homelessness or at-risk of homelessness status, and in some cases, income eligibility. ESG recipients may have additional eligibility criteria as well.
