About Flybe
About Flybe
Flybe was established in 1979 as Jersey European Airways and became known as Flybe in 2002. Based in Exeter, the airline has established its position as Europe’s leading regional airline through its wide-reaching network covering over 200 routes across Europe.
Virgin Atlantic is a shareholder in Flybe and, as such, Virgin Atlantic and Flybe are partnering across flying and marketing activities, in particular with respect to Flybe’s services relating to London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester. In addition, passengers are able to purchase tickets to travel on certain Flybe routes either directly from Flybe or from Virgin Atlantic thanks to a codeshare agreement between the carriers.
