The Battle Pass has been part of Fortnite Battle Royale ever since it launched, and players have been able to make back the V-Bucks they spent on it since Chapter 1 Season 2. Players can still get their in-game currency back, but it has been made significantly harder to do this in these past few seasons.

Fortnite's Save the World game mode is still around, but is it worth it?
This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the V-Bucks included in the Chapter 5 Season4 Battle Pass, including how much they'll have to grind to get them back.
How to Unlock All Battle Pass V-Bucks in Chapter 5 Season 4
The Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass started on August 16 and it'll be live until November 2, which means players have nearly three months to unlock as much of it as possible. The Battle Pass includes the first 100 levels, which is where players will find most of the juicy rewards, the following 100 levels in the Bonus Rewards tab, which include additional cosmetics and the Super Styles, which aren't locked during the first few weeks of the season.
The Battle Pass has always cost 950 V-Bucks, and many fans tend to buy it since they can usually get more than the amount spent by completing it. However, before Chapter 5 Season 1, players could get a total of 1,500 V-Bucks for reaching level 100, but that is no longer the case.
Gamers can still earn 1,500 V-Bucks with the Fortnite Battle Pass, but now they must reach level 139 to be able to unlock them. Players who get to level 100 will still get their money back since they'll receive 1,000 V-Bucks for their efforts, but in order to unlock the additional 500 V-Bucks, they'll have to level up their Fortnite account a significant amount.
Here are the Battle Pass levels that allow gamers to unlock V-Bucks:
- Level 1
- Level 5
- Level 26
- Level 32
- Level 35
- Level 46
- Level 62
- Level 78
- Level 82
- Level 90
- Level 101
- Level 114
- Level 127
- Level 138
- Level 139
Is the Battle Pass Still Worth It?
There is no doubt that compared to before it is much harder for players to earn back the V-Bucks they initially spent on the Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. However, it still gives players who complete the first 100 tiers 1,000 V-Bucks, and those who go the extra mile will be able to obtain an additional 500 V-Bucks. On top of this, it gives players access to eight exclusive Battle Pass skins and other unique cosmetics.
In light of changes made to Battle Pass policies starting in Chapter 5 Season 4, all of the Absolute Doom skins and from here on out can be made available in the Item Shop 18 months from their release date. The lack of exclusiveness might devalue the Battle Pass for some fans, but there's no doubt that they can get everything at a much better price if they buy it now.
So, if players enjoy the cosmetic items the Battle Pass includes or plan on completing most of it, it is certainly still worth 950 V-Bucks. However, fans on the fence about purchasing it should see how much of it they can unlock, and if they get past level 100, they should purchase it, as they'll immediately earn back the V-Bucks they spent on it.
