Don't cheat, you're better than that.

Cheats are not something you like to see in today’s age, no matter what game you are playing, but it’s significantly worse when it is seen in online multiplayer games. The most recent victim of these cheats is Genshin Impact, but the developers, Hoyoverse have already started cracking down on cheat creators and have sued them in a Canadian Court.
As reported by Polygon, Genshin Impact cheat creator Joaquin Soarin along with a few others has been sued by Hoyoverse and Cognosphere. They have been served with a lawsuit for infringing their copyright material to create cheating tools. These cheating tools include Akebi GC, Acrepi and Genshin XYZ, and they were providing unfair advantage to the players that were using them.
Hoyoverse stated that these tools were providing players a way to “rapidly progress through the game” and others were decreasing the “likelihood” of players making in-game purchases. Tools such as Akebi GC do not come for free and you have to subscribe them on a weekly or monthly basis which costs $7.99 or $19.99 respectively. Acrepi on the other hand allows you to use the same tools free of cost.
Hoyoverse added that these cheats are damaging the company’s reputation as well as its finances. Stating that they have invested a lot of money in trying to stop these cheats, locate the cheaters and ban them. Moreover, creating patches that work against these cheating ticks has also been a problem. According to the lawsuit, Hoyoverse is demanding a sum of more than $50,000 in terms of damages.
