Genshin Impactis full of a ton of different unique, flashy, and engaging combat styles. It's one of the many elements that the open-world gacha titles use to draw in and hold players' attention between updates. There are five different weapon types, with the One-Handed Sword being the one that applies to the most characters in the game. The other weapon types have nine or ten characters to choose from, but the Sword has a whopping twelve.

10 The Traveler Doesn't Shine With Any Of Their Currently Available Elements
As of early 2022, the Traveler currently has access to three different elements, corresponding with the three currently unlocked regions. These are Anemo for Mondstadt, Geo for Liyue, and Electro for Inazuma.

Genshin Impact'sQiqi is an incredibly cute and interesting character in theory, but her gameplay doesn't make her nearly as viable as both Barbara and Kokomi, the other dedicated healers as of early 2022.
Qiqi is really only able to heal her party members when she's on the field and actively dealing damage, but her numbers aren't high enough to warrant this. Other healers like Barbara and Kokomi can both reliably heal even while off the field, making it hard for Qiqi to keep up.
8 Keqing Used To Be The Electro Queen, But Now She's Hardly Used
InGenshin Impact'searly days, it was hard to find an Electro character more sought-after than Keqing. At the time, there also weren't nearly as many strong Main DPS units as there were after releases like Xiao, Hu Tao, Tartaglia, and Ganyu.
With pretty much every other element having stronger DPS choices as well as access to stronger Elemental Reactions, this leaves Keqing in an awkward spot where she can't quite keep up. Her best artifact set right now is also 2-piece Thundering Fury and 2-piece Gladiator's, meaning she's also hurt by the lack of a best-in-slot 4-piece build.
7 Kaeya Is Great For Cryo Application, But Is Hard To Obtain Constellations For
Kaeya is one of the better units when it comes to consistent Cryo application. His Elemental Skill is on a short cooldown and applies Cryo to enemies in a cone in front of him and his Burst is essentially the Cryo version of Xiangling's.

On top of that, Kaeya's personality and design are cool and mysterious, butGenshin Impactplayers don't use him often. This is because he's one of the free characters given out to all players and since he doesn't obtain Rate-Ups on any banners, it's a lot harder to obtain his constellations.
6 Jean Is A Good Burst Healer Usable In A Variety Of Team Compositions
Jean is one of the best units Genshin Impactplayers can get when it comes to burst healing. She's quite popular, too, seeing as how the Dandelion Knight was the first five-star to receive a paid-only skin within the game that sold pretty well.
Jean's Elemental Skill can also supply teams with a helpful burst of Crowd Control by clumping enemies together, though she does knock them back, which might make combining skills harder. She's also outclassed in this regard by Venti, Kazuha, and even Sucrose.
Albedo is an amazing Sub-DPS unit and one of the best Geo units in Genshin Impact. Many fans were initially skeptical of how good he'd turn out to be, but especially after some more recent Geo releases, Albedo's got a solid spot in certain team compositions as well as many fans' hearts.
One of Albedo's best teams is a Triple-Geo composition that makes use of both Itto and Gorou alongside him, but there are options for players who still want to use elemental reactions as well. For example, he can be paired with Hu Tao and Xinigqiu to help provide her with more survivability.
4 Xingqiu Is A Top-Tier Support Who Doesn't Need Much Investment
There are a ton of great support characters inGenshin Impact,with many of them surprisingly being four-star units that are easily accessible to more players. One of the best supportive units in the entire gameis Xingqiu.
Teams that heavily utilize melee characters aren't going to be able to get enough of Xingqiu, as his Hydro swords provide easy reactions for Melt damage or Freeze comps. He shines the most in double Pyro compositions that utilize him alongside Bennett and then Diluc, Hu Tao, or even Xiangling.
3 Kazuha Is A Top-Tier Anemo Sub-DPS With Beautiful Animations
Before Kazuha came along, Venti was the undisputed king of Anemo swirl damage and utility. However, it didn't take long after Kazuha's release for Genshin Impactfans to realize that this crown had been stolen without much contest.

Kazuha's kit plays more like a mixture of Venti and Xiao, as he's able to pull enemies together,but also propel himself into the air to follow-up with powerful Plunged attacks. He can work in any team composition as a powerful buffer.
2 Bennett Is One Of The Best Supports In The Game With Both Healing & Attack Buffs
It's hard to find a better all-around support than Bennett. For starters, he's a four-star which makes him and his constellations easily obtainable for even low spenders and free-to-play players.
On top of that, Bennett is Pyro, meaning he passively grants his team a 25% Attack Buff if he's paired with another Pyro unit in the form of a Main or Sub-DPS. He provides decent healing to his team, but it's his Attack Buff that really helps him shine brighter than most other supports.
1 Ayaka Is The Kamisato Clan's Princess& The Queen Of Cryo
Ayaka is another character withinGenshin Impactthat received mass amounts of hype leading up to her release. She does not disappoint, as she's the single strongest One-Handed Sword user and one of the strongest Cryo characters in the entire game.
Ayaka's dash imbues her sword with Cryo, meaning she can permanently freeze enemies in compositions with Hydro characters or enemies with Hydro shields. Her Elemental Burst is incredibly strong and can wipe out even boss enemies in a single rotation.
