Follow these easy steps
Enroll with Zelle® to send and receive money
Enrolling your eligible U.S.-based checking or savings account is quick and convenient. You can do it right in Wells Fargo Online® or the Wells Fargo Mobile® app.
- Sign on and select Transfer & Pay on the desktop or Pay & Transfer on the mobile app.
- Go to Send Money with Zelle® and view the Welcome note.
- Read and accept the Zelle® Transfer Service Addendum.
- Enroll an email address or U.S. mobile number, and select the account where you want money to be deposited.
You're ready to use Zelle®.
Note: You may receive a one-time verification code for each email address or U.S. mobile number selected. If so, enter it in the verification code field.
Add contacts to Zelle®
Easily add your payment contacts using Wells Fargo Online or the Wells Fargo Mobile app.
- Sign on and select Transfer and Pay on the desktop or Pay & Transfer on the mobile app.
- Select Zelle®
- From the Zelle® screen, select QR code to scan a recipient QR code and continue to Send money, or select Recipients or Add Recipient, and select the plus (+) icon.
- From the Add Recipient screen, enter recipient name, or the name of the business in the First Name field, as well as your recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number.
- Select Save and your contact will be added to your Zelle® recipient list.
Send Money with Zelle®
Sending money is fast and convenient. It’s already part of your Wells Fargo Mobile app.
- Sign on on and select Transfer and Pay on the desktop or Pay & Transfer on the mobile app.
- Select Zelle®.
- Select Send.
- Select the recipient.
- Enter the amount.
- Select Review.
- Select Send.
Request money with Zelle® using your smartphone
Requesting money is fast and convenient.
Note: Make sure your email address or U.S. mobile phone number is enrolled with Zelle® through your Wells Fargo Online account.
- Sign on and select Pay & Transfer.
- Select Zelle®
- From the Zelle® screen, select Request.
- Select from your list of recipients or the plus (+) icon to add a new one.
- Enter the amount you're requesting, double-check it to make sure it’s correct, then select Request.

Enrollment with Zelle® through Wells Fargo Online® or Wells Fargo Business Online® is required. Terms and conditions apply. U.S. checking or savings account required to use Zelle®. Transactions between enrolled users typically occur in minutes. For your protection, Zelle® should only be used for sending money to friends, family, or others you trust. Neither Wells Fargo nor Zelle® offers purchase protection for payments made with Zelle® - for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described or as you expected. Payment requests to persons not already enrolled with Zelle® must be sent to an email address. To send or receive money with a small business, both parties must be enrolled with Zelle® directly through their financial institution’s online or mobile banking experience. For more information, view the Zelle® Transfer Service Addendum to the Wells Fargo Online Access Agreement. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply. Account fees (e.g., monthly service, overdraft) may apply to Wells Fargo account(s) with which you use Zelle®.

Donations@redcross.org is eligible for the send function only; it cannot be used to request money. Zelle® may be used to send direct donations only to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Donations to other charitable organizations are not available at this time.
