Gifting Phase (2024)

A period of one's life during which one's investment goals shift from making money to giving to charitable or philanthropic causes. The term is most commonly associated with highly successful investors who wish to give back some or all of their earnings to the community at large. An investment adviser may make different decisions during the gifting phase.
