Hell Countess rune drops (2024)

She doesn't always drop low runes because of that, but don't expect her to drop a good rune every 10 games or so, out of 6 or 7 hours of countessing you might get one or two ists..

The only difference between you killing a monster and a minion doing it is MF/GF. Neither has any effect on rune drops...

I was reading this thread earlier and decided to do some hell countess runs.
I have an enchant sorc so my merc kills everything in the tower for me,
including the countess. On about the 5th run or so my merc killed her and lo
and behold she drops a jah rune . So I'd say that having your merc kill the
countess does not lower what runes she drops.

She obviously can drop a jah rune because she did for me. So, just saying she
can't drop a jah rune without giving a link to somewhere showing stats on what
she can and can't drop isn't going to prove anything to me.

Thank you for the link, I looked through the sight and used the drop calculator
on atma. It shows that in 1.10 she can't and you are correct, but it also shows
that her minions can drop a jah rune in the atma calculator. So it would seem
that I just managed to get the 1 in 12 million drop from her minions for a jah
rune. Thank you for clarifying.

best i ever got was a pul after so many key runs with her

best she has ever dropped for me is mal but hey i traded that off for an um and made myself an archon COH so i guess it worked out for the best :thumbsup:

50+ countess runs the last few days and the best I got from her was a shael . I did however score an etherial sacred rondache with 39 resists off of the armor rack on level 5 :thumbsup:

I've done over 200, maybe not quite 300 Countess runs this ladder season, she's dropped 2 Um, a Pul, a Fal, around 3 each Ko and Lum, lots of mid-stuff, and 27 keys. That's probably better than average for that many runs. I look at it this way, every rune she drops is useful because it all cubes up.
