One of my favourite plant-based sources of energy is hemp hearts. They are not only super nutritious by being packed with protein and healthy fats; they also taste good with a slightly nutty flavour and a chewy texture.
I like to add hemp hearts to smoothies, sprinkle a teaspoon on my oatmeal, cereal, and even on salads. And, obviously, it is an awesome ingredient for energy balls.

chocolate chips – I prefer dark chocolate
natural peanut butter
honey
hemp hearts
ground flax
vanilla extract
sea salt
How to Make this Recipe
Nothing beats the instructions for an easy measure and stir method.
First, measure out your ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Second, using a spoon or spatulablend together the mixture until the ingredients have all been incorporated.

Hemp Seed Energy Balls – Easy Gluten Free + No Bake Recipe

These 4-ingredient protein balls have about 128 calories so you should only eat 2 of these as part of a healthy amount of calories and fat. Keep in mind that you need to consider all the foods consumed in a day and keep it within the acceptable range for your height and weight.
