Research done by Cafemutual on passives shows that SBI Nifty 50 ETF is the largest fund in terms of AUM with assets of Rs.1.70 lakh crore.
SBI S&P BSE Sensex ETF with AUM of Rs.1.05 lakh crore and UTI Nifty 50 ETF with AUM Rs.48,000 crore are the next two funds with the highest AUM in the large cap space.
In midcap space, Nippon India ETF Nifty Midcap 150, Mirae Asset Nifty Midcap 150 ETF, Motilal Oswal Nifty Midcap 100 ETF are the top three index funds with AUM of Rs.1,000 crore, Rs.600 crore and Rs.380 crore, respectively.
While CPSE ETF tops the list with Rs. 30,000 crore AUM in sectoral/thematic space, ICICI Prudential Nifty 100 Low Volatility 30 ETF leads in factor fund category with AUM of Rs.2,000 crore.
Among target maturity funds BHARAT Bond ETF - April 2030 (Rs.18,000 crore), BHARAT Bond ETF - April 2031 (Rs.13,000 crore) and BHARAT Bond ETF - April 2032 (Rs. 10,500 crore) have the highest AUM.
Cafemutual has captured the details of 157 ETFs across categories - large cap(41), mid cap(6), sectoral/thematic(48), target maturity (3), liquid(3) , gold(11), silver(7), factor (20) and international(6) and flexicap(1).
