With the opening of Lower.com Field,there's a new opportunity for Columbus families to make some memories together.
But what can an average family of four expect to pay to take in the city's newest stadium? And how does that compare to the homes of the Blue Jackets, Buckeyes and Clippers?
Prices might fluctuate, but here's an idea of what it costs to attend a game in Columbus — and what it costs to nab a souvenir while you're at it.
Lower.com Field
Parking
There are 6,300 parking spaces within a 10-minute walk and another 6,700 parking spaces within a15-minute walk.Expect to pay $10-15, similar to a Blue Jackets game.If you don’t have VIP parking close to the stadium, you will likely have to park in an Arena District lot or one of the surrounding parking garages, similar to a Clippers game at Huntington Park or a Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena.

Decent tickets
According to Ticketmaster, the cheapest single-game tickets range from $34 for the final games to about $49 per person in the upper bowl in the south end.For upper bowl east side near midfield, tickets are priced $52to $75.Cheapest tickets in the lower bowl range from $41 to $59.
Food
Levy Restaurants did not respond to a request for comment on pricing at the new stadium. At the previous stadium,two domestic beers, two waters and four hotdogscost $44.
Souvenirs
A Crew T-shirt will cost between $20 to $25.Kidsjerseys start at $55 while adult replica jerseys with your favorite player's name on it will cost at least $130. If you want a hat, expect to cough up $28.
Total Cost
With parking,$41tickets in thelower bowl, concessions,and let’s say two T-shirts,a family of four can expect to payat least $268 before sales tax.
Nationwide Arena
Parking
There are more than 15,000 parking spaces within a 10-minute walk to the arena, includingboth surface lots and garages. Prices vary per location, but most will run between $12 and $20 per vehicle.Expect to pay an average of $15 to park.
Tickets
Direct-sale tickets and those available on the secondary market more than doubled this past seasononce a limited number of fans were allowed back into the arenafor games.Theaverage ticket on the secondary market the past four years was roughly $50 fora non-premium seat location.Expect to pay that amount or slightly more per ticket for seats not located in the nosebleeds.
Food/drink
Once inside, the smellsfromconcession stands willimmediatelydraw your attention and probably makethe familyhungry.Nationwide Arena offers a variety of food and drink options, buthotdogscost$7.50 and adult-size drinks are $7 each. There is also TheDispatchFamily Value Packstarting at$30, which provides aticket, hot dog, popcorn and soft drink, but tickets are limited and subject to availability.Expect to pay an average of between $35-$40 in concessions for a family of four.

Souvenirs
There are souvenir stands set up all through the arena, but the main place to buy Blue Jackets gear is The Blue Line, located on the mainconcourse. Authentic jerseys with player nameplates are $280. Replica jerseys run in the $50-$60 range.Ball caps and knit winter hats run between $25-$35 each. Collectiblepucks with the team logo are $8.
Total cost
Afterpurchasing tickets, parking, concessions, a souvenir puck and a replicajersey, a family of four can expect to pay an average of $325.
Value City Arena
Parking
If you want to park around the arena on the west side of Olentangy River Road, $10. If you’dprefer to avoid the walk, though, you can parkin the paid lots off Ackerman Road. Those comewith a free shuttle to the northeast rotunda of the arena.
Decent tickets
Depends on what team is suiting up against the Buckeyes. While ticket details haven’t been released for the 2021-22 season, Ohio State has moved to dynamic pricing that divides games into exhibition, non-conference, conference and premier categories. If you want to see a game against a Big Ten opponent and have a decent seat, that will cost $28.
Food/drink
A hot dog will be $4, but if you’re going the healthier route, a portabella mushroom sub is $8. Both a beer and a soft drink will set you back $8, but good news for the kids: while the 16-ounce beer doesn’t come with free refills, the soft drinks do.

Souvenirs
Whether you bring home a birthday present for one of the kids depends on how far you want to stretch the budget. A youth replica jersey is $65.
Total cost
After the purchase of tickets, parking, concessionsand a replicajersey, a family of four can expect to pay around $240.
Huntington Park
Parking
If it’s the only event in the Arena District that day/night, expect to pay no more than $5 to park somewhere within the area.
Decent tickets
Seats along the first- or third-base lines will cost $16, and if you want to try and catch home runs in the bleachers, it’s only $5 a ticket.
Food
On Dime-A-Dog night, hot dogs are (obviously) a mere 10 cents each. Otherwise, junior hot dogs are around $2 and adult ones are $5 while a veggie burger goes for $7.50. A small domestic beer is $5, but if the kids are especially taxing, a large is about $10. Junior soft drinks are $2 each.
Souvenirs
If you want a regular youth jersey or an alternate, blue-colored one, either will be $60.
Total cost
After the purchase of tickets, parking, concessions and a replicajersey, a family of four can expect to pay an average of $150.50 — depending how many many dime-a-dogs are consumed.
Ohio Stadium
Parking
All of the parking lots open to the general public around the stadium are $20 per vehicle.
Tickets
The average price of a single-game ticket, not including box or club suites, over seven home games in the upcoming season is $118. Due to a dynamic pricing system, costs vary each game. When the Buckeyes host Penn State on Halloween weekend, reserved seats will be as much as $210. Non-conference games against Akron ($66) and Tulsa ($63) are the cheapest options.

Food/drink
A hot dog is $4 and a slice of Donatos pizza is $8, among other concession offerings throughout the concourse, while a domestic beer is $8. Ohio State began beer sales for all spectators in 2016. Refillable souvenir soda is also $8.
Souvenirs
The updated online listings at the official team store show hats starting at $30 and t-shirts at $10. Personalized Nike home jerseys that allow fans to customize the number and name are $120. Replica youth jerseys for children are $60.
Total cost
Between tickets and parking, a family of four can expect to drop down at least $492 to sit in the stands at the Horseshoe this fall. Factor in some hungry stomachs and a desire to sport some new apparel, the total cost approaches $600 or more.
