Completing the main story of Hogwarts Legacy will take most players somewhere in the region of 25 hours. Completing everything that the game has to offer will take considerably longer though, with the game packing in a ridiculous amount of side quests, challenges, and other post-game content for players to sink their teeth into.

Those wondering what to do after finishing the main story in Hogwarts Legacy need worry not, as the game doesn't disappoint when it comes to post-game content. Even after Ranrok has been taken care of, there's still quite a lot to be done, particularly if players have been focusing exclusively on the Goblin rebellion at the expense of side content.
Updated May 6, 2023, by Tom Bowen: Sadly, Hogwarts Legacy does not have a New Game Plus mode. However, that's not to say that there isn't still plenty of endgame content, with players needing to complete all manner of tasks before achieving 100% completion. With over 100 side and relationship quests, countless Merlin Trials, and several hundred Field Guide pages to track down, those wondering what to do after beating the game will find themselves spoiled for choice due to the ridiculous amount of Hogwarts Legacy post-game content.
Complete Every Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy

Doing so will unlock a Trophy / Achievement called The Good Samaritan, while also providing players with a lot of XP. For those wondering, this total does not include the PlayStation-exclusive side quest Minding Your Own Business, though those with access to it should definitely check it out.

There are a surprising amount of customization options here, allowing players to really make the room feel like home.
Complete Dueling Feats and Challenges
Those hoping to reach the max level in Hogwarts Legacy are going to have to grind out an awful lot of XP. Completing side quests can be a great way to do this, but those who still find themselves a little short can earn a little extra by completing challenges and dueling feats. This is also a great way to unlock new cosmetic items, which will no doubt appeal to some players.
Find the Remaining Field Guide Pages
There are 236 Field Guide Pages in total, most of which can be found in and around Hogwarts. Many of these can be found simply by casting Revelio, though some will need to be obtained by interacting with the statues dotted around the school or plucked out of the air using Accio. There are more Field Guide Pages in Hogsmeade too, as well as several other areas on the world map.

Complete the Post-Game Main Story Quests
After completing Hogwarts Legacy's story, players will gain access to two main story new quests; these being Weasley’s Watchful Eye and The House Cup. The former requires players to complete the Field Guide, which means finding every single missing page. The latter becomes available after that, though only once players have reached Level 34. This serves as the game's true ending and a fitting conclusion to what is arguably the best Harry Potter game ever made.
Hogwarts Legacy is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. A Switch version is currently in development.
