Consider that there may be other wireless access points in the area. The more there are, the more interference your wireless signal will have to adapt to. If you know the owner of the access points, its possible you could ask them to lower the transmit (TX) power settings within their settings so that the signal is not as strong in your space as in theirs. This will lessen the interference with your access point(s).
