How do I remove the limitation from my PayPal account? ›

If your account has been limited, you'll get an email from PayPal explaining the reason for the limitation. Log in to your account and go to the Resolution Center or click the bell icon at the top of your Dashboard for more information. This will tell you what to do to remove the limitation, if applicable.

We may limit your account if you haven't used it much since you signed up. To restore full access to your account, log in and upload your Proof of Identity (such as a copy of your driver's license or state ID). You can upload this document in your Notifications center.
