There isn't an option when I click the three-dot menu to edit the name of the team in the Manage Team section. So, given that, how do I edit the name of a team?

To change the team's name, go to Manage team>>Settings>>Team details>>Edit.
Another way: go to the Teams admin center>>Teams& group>>Active Teams& groups>>select team>>Edit name and description.

2024-06-13T19:49:56.1633333+00:00 You should clarify that the directions you've provided are via the web version of Microsoft Teams. An edit team name feature in the desktop app version does not exist as far as I can see.

2024-04-05T15:39:52.5733333+00:00 I figured it out. Select the three dots in the channel you want to edit. Select Manage tags, settings, then you will be able to edit the name of the channel.

2024-04-30T16:10:48.86+00:00 If you don't have a settings option at the top, it may be because you're not the owner of the team. Settings only shows up for the Teams where I am an owner. It doesn't show on the ones where I am a member only.
