Check the time and date on your phone and make sure they match the computer or device you are logging in from. You can check that the times sync here. If your code is still not working, please restart your device and retry logging in.

Viewing the setup key

While setting up an authenticator app for 2FA you can view the setup key which we automatically generate as a QR code, but which can also be read in plain text by clicking on View setup key. It is sometimes also referred to as a "backup code" or "secret seed code".

A recovery code provides an alternative method to verify your two-factor authentication if your authenticator app is not available. When you set up recovery codes, you get a list of codes that are unique to your login. Each code can be used once, and the system tracks each code as it is used.

If you've lost access to your 2FA device, you can recover your account by using backup codes, alternative recovery options like a secondary email or phone number, or by contacting customer support. Be ready to confirm your identity by answering a few security questions or providing proof of ID.

If you lose access to your two-factor authentication credentials, you can use your recovery codes, or another recovery option, to regain access to your account.

Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app. Select Settings. Select Time correction for codes. Select Sync now.

Select Sign-in and security settings, then scroll down to "2-Step Verification". Select Edit or tap 2-Step Verification, then select Delete settings. You may be prompted to confirm your identity by re-entering your password, re-authenticating with your passkey, and/or by verifying your email address.
