One of the calibration methods your compass utilizes includes motion over time, whether you are walking around or pulling your phone out of your pocket. One trick to help re-align the compass is to shake your phone or rotate it in a large figure eight motion.

Your location could be wrong on your Android because Google Location Accuracy is turned off. Without it, your Android is limited in what sources it can use to provide an accurate location.
