Gmail calls folders "Labels" - but they work the same way.

  1. Login to Gmail in your browser
  2. Scroll down Gmail's left-hand menu
  3. Find "Labels"
  4. Click the + next to Labels
  5. Enter a name for the new folder

  1. Open the Gmail App
  2. Click the menu icon in the top left
  3. Click 'Create New'

How to create sub folders

This is especially useful for nesting project folders.
