I have 3 KMS server listed in DNS record, but I don't know which one is one use. I know one is setup by ex engineer and my self setup 2, but for some reason, I believe only one is working.
I am quite new to this KMS, I setup the kms the moment I need active cooperate company windows 10. It was confused for me and I forgot how make it working and till now windows 10 activation through KMS is working, but I don't know which server doing the job. another KMS server is activing office 2010, which is setup by earlier engineer.
On the client machine, from an elevated command prompt, type SLMGR.vbs /dlv. This will give you verbose output of the Software Licensing service. Refer to the "KMS machine name from DNS:" field for the FQDN of the KMS host.

The KMS clients find the KMS host via a DNS SRV record (_vlmcs._tcp) and then automatically attempt to discover and use this service to activate themselves. When in the 30 day Out of Box grace period, they will try to activate every 2 hours.

According to the Microsoft article: Understanding KMS, in the KMS Activation Renewal section, it states that "KMS activations are valid for 180 days—the activation validity interval. To remain activated, KMS client computers must renew their activation by connecting to the KMS host at least once every 180 days.".
Open the Command Prompt via "Run As Administrator". Right-click on Command Prompt in the start menu to bring up the option. Verify that the machine can connect to the SRV DNS record of the KMS host by running the following command: nslookup -type=srv _vlmcs._tcp.northwestern.edu.
Systems are activated by obtaining a lease; they are not permanently activated. The lease must be renewed periodically. Systems will automatically renew the lease every 7 days by contacting the KMS. Systems without a valid lease will contact the KMS more frequently (every 2 hours).
In the navigation pane, choose Customer managed keys. Choose the check box for the KMS keys that you want to enable or disable. To enable a KMS key, choose Key actions, Enable. To disable a KMS key, choose Key actions, Disable.
Just go into the Products and Keys section, and locate the specific product you want.click on Key to expand your keys, and it will show you all your MAK and KMS keys. the Activations or Seats column then shows you your total activations available, and how many have been used, for each key.
You can re-enable a disabled KMS key and cancel the scheduled deletion of a KMS key, but you cannot recover a deleted KMS key. You can only schedule the deletion of a customer managed key. You cannot delete AWS managed keys or AWS owned keys.
