You can get cash back from your Walmart Credit Card simply by making purchases with your card. This is how you can earn cash back with the Walmart® Store Card, too. It’s worth noting that both cards are no longer available to new applicants. However, existing cardholders can still use them, according to the issuer.
Keep in mind that the main difference between the two Walmart cards is that the Walmart® Store Card can only be used at Walmart stores, Walmart.com, Sam’s Club, and its associated gas stations. The Walmart Credit Card on the other hand can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, offering cash back on all purchases.
How to Get Cash Back With Your Walmart Credit Card
- Walmart Credit Card: Earn 5% cash back in Walmart stores using Walmart Pay for the first 12 months, 5% back on Walmart.com purchases, 2% back at Walmart stores and fuel stations, 2% back on restaurant and travel purchases, and 1% back on all other purchases.
- Walmart® Store Card: Earn 5 points per $1 spent (5% back) in Walmart stores when you use Walmart Pay for the first 12 months, 5 points (5% back) on Walmart.com purchases, and 2 points (2% back) at Walmart stores, Walmart & Murphy USA Fuel Stations.
If you are wondering about how to withdraw cash with your Walmart Credit Card, then you can do so by using your card at any ATM that accepts cards on the Mastercard network. Keep in mind, though, that cash advances with a credit card are really expensive and should be reserved for emergencies only. It is also worth noting that the Walmart® Store Card doesn’t allow cash advances, as it is a store card.

Yeah you can, it's part of their rewards. I just usually get it at the register, that's the easiest way to do it.

First off, you get $25 cash back paid as statement credit when you open a Walmart credit card and spend $25. Then you get 3% cash back on all Walmart.com purchases, 2% on Murphy USA and Walmart gas, and 1% at Walmart and anywhere else your card is accepted. And you can also get cash back at the register, when you make a purchase.

Why was my Walmart credit card cash back denied?
Your Capital One Walmart Rewards® Mastercard® cash back was likely denied because you exceeded the $400 daily limit for Quick Cash or your card’s total cash advance limit.
Quick Cash is a feature available with both the Capital One Walmart Rewards® Mastercard® and the Walmart® Store Card. It allows you to withdraw $400 cash at the register when you make a purchase. And you won’t have to pay a cash advance fee, as the $400 will show up on your bill as a purchase.
