Looking to reap the highest-tier rewards from the Chaos Chamber end-game content? There is something particularly easy to miss that is pivotal to your progress further into the game mode. Below you'll find out all you need to know about the process, ensuring you're opening yourself up to the best loot possible.
What are Chaos Levels and How Do You Raise Them?
Chaos Levels act as the Mayhem Mode from Borderlands 3 equivalent; configurable settings to tailor your end-game experience in terms of difficulty and subsequently your loot quality. To gain access to Chaos Levels, you'll need to have completed the main campaign and entered the Chaos Chamber. Speak to the Dragon Lord and select the Chaos Trial option.

Begin the Chaos Chamber run and complete it within any parameters (no need to stress too much), and then speak to the Dragon Lord again and you'll note that on the Chaos Trial option your Chaos Level will be denoted. For all other Chaos Chamber options, you can now apply a Chaos Level to it, relative to the amount of Chaos Levels you have unlocked.
Re-run the Chaos Trial to unlock subsequent Chaos Levels, all the way up to Chaos Level 20. The higher the level, the harder the enemies you'll face but the better the quality and consistency of loot.
